Prof. Marek Kasperski is the Governance Council Member and Vice-President (VP) of the United Sigma Intelligence Association, USIA.


 

Marek Kasperski is an internationally renowned Mind Mapping, Speed-Reading, and Memory expert with over 28 years of experience in education and a deep connection to the legacy of Tony Buzan, the inventor of Mind Maps.



A Unique Friendship & Legacy

Marek was a close friend and mentee of Tony Buzan, often referred to by Tony as “peas in a pod” due to their shared thoughts and ideas on intelligence, creativity, and learning. Together, they traveled to Memory Championships around the globe and spent countless hours discussing the intricacies of Mind Mapping and cognitive enhancement. Marek’s unique understanding of Tony’s development of Mind Maps – from its origins to the powerful tool we see today – is a result of years of collaboration and training directly from Tony himself.



Global Impact

Marek teaches Mind Mapping, Speed-Reading, and Memory techniques worldwide, empowering individuals and organizations to unlock their full intellectual potential. His training spans across China, Singapore, Switzerland, Mauritius, Israel, Australia, the USA, England, Ireland, Italy, and the Middle East. Whether one-on-one coaching or large-scale seminars of up to 5,000 participants, Marek’s dynamic teaching has inspired thousands to improve their learning, creativity, and productivity.

  • Vice-President, Tony Buzan Company (2020–present): Appointed as Vice President of Tony Buzan’s legacy organization, Marek continues to uphold and expand Tony’s pioneering work.


  • Global Chief Arbiter, GOMSA (2020): As the Vice-President of the Guild of Mind Sports Arbiters (GOMSA), Marek oversees all World Championships for Mind Mapping and Speed-Reading, ensuring transparency and fairness in these prestigious events.


  • President, World Mind Sports Council (2024): Marek was honored with the role of President of the World Mind Sports Council, a testament to his leadership and contributions to intellectual sports worldwide.



Academic & Teaching Excellence

Marek brings 28 years of tertiary-level teaching experience, combining academic rigor with practical expertise. His courses cater to learners of all levels, from Foundation programs to Advanced Practitioner certifications. Marek’s online and in-person training remains widely sought after for its clarity, depth, and transformative impact.

A passionate advocate for personal excellence, Marek is also an accomplished fencer, holding multiple titles:


  • 2020 South Australian State Champion (Open Category, Sabre Fencing)


  • 2021 & 2022 Veteran State Champion (Sabre Fencing)


  • 2023 Australian Masters Games: Winner of 1 Silver and 3 Gold medals
